Brake Repair: What To Know About Rotor Replacements
A good quality steam cleaner has to be easy to move, thorough and easily adaptable to different tasks and surfaces. The Vax steam cleaner is all those things and more. With only one or two negative points to mention it is definitely one of the most superior cleaners of its kind.
For every room in the house and for every task imaginable there is a different attachment to deal with the job. The Vax can tackle thick layers of pet fur, stubborn kitchen grime and even dust mites and bed bugs. The steam works through the layers of dirt and lifts them free from the fabric. Unlike many steam cleaners this one will easily tackle windows and curtains alike.
In order to allow the job to be done in one attempt the tank holds 1.6 liters of water which allows for approximately 45 minutes of cleaning. As it is small and easy to construct, re-filling the tank is a quick and simple job, so if thorough cleaning is needed then the Vax can accommodate. The body is 4.7 kg and is therefore light enough to carry around the house and the attached wheels make movement even easier.
As the device is so easy to move a long power cable is essential so that this movement is not inhibited. The cable is 6 meters long, which will allow the device to reach far enough to cover the entire room. One of the drawbacks is the relatively short hose. At 1.6 meters it is long enough to complete the majority of everyday tasks, but some areas that are harder to reach may result in the cleaner being lifted.
It does not need any cleaning solution, which not only saves money but also reduces the amount of pollution created by the device. In some scenarios children are prevented from playing on newly cleaned surfaces due to the harmful chemicals in the cleaning solutions. As the Vax uses only steam to clean all surfaces this is not a problem and it is an entirely safe device.
One of the more negative aspects of the cleaner is its ability to tackle stains on carpets. It has been reported that these stains cannot be removed completely and a small mark is left. In most cases the stain will be removed after the second or third attempt at cleaning it, but it depends on the type of stain and how long it has been present on the carpet.
Handheld steam cleaners are quite popular among those with a small budget and less space to clean. For those with an average sized home or a large family a handheld model would not suffice as the cleaning power is much weaker and it is not adaptable. The Vax has such a range of different attachments that it is suitable for any size home and is small enough to be tucked away out of sight when not in use.
The Vax steam cleaner has one or two drawbacks, but nothing that would present a real issue to the user. It tackles any surface and any cleaning problem and in most cases is completely successful. For commercial or industrial use it would not be powerful enough, but for a family home with a variety of cleaning issues it is ideal.
